Panama Canal
in 1914 the Panama Canal was opened, thanks to the idea of Theodore Rooselvelt to make the trip from europe closer. the canal lets you cut through africa intead of having to go all the way around it and having to risk dealing with the scummy pirates. today the canal has been improved from the original design of it adn is the most busiest canal of the world. today they are planning a new way to make the process of docking ships and making it go faster to get the imports to other countries. the canal will still be in effect while these details are being fixed and plan on being finished at the end of the 2015 year.
